Panmure Liberum acts as Joint Financial Adviser, Joint Corporate Broker and Joint Bookrunner to Ferrexpo on its US$100m equity fundraise

Ferrexpo is a producer and exporter of premium iron products, sold to the global steel industry from their mining, production and logistics asset base in Ukraine. Ferrexpo's operations have been supplying the global steel industry for over 50 years with a customer base comprising of premium steel mills around the world.

The fundraise consists of a placing via accelerated bookbuild for $60 million and a conditional subscription for $40 million by the Company’s largest shareholder, Fevamotinico, of which founder Kostiantyn Zhevago is a beneficiary. The accelerated bookbuild was supported by a cornerstone commitment of $50 million from a high-net-worth Ukrainian businessman previously unaffiliated to Ferrexpo.

The net proceeds of the fundraise will be used to support the restart of mining and production operations and to fund working capital generally, including to address deferred maintenance and capex and to preserve financial flexibility given ongoing operational, political and legal risks in Ukraine.

Trading in the Ordinary Shares, which had been suspended since 1 May 2026, resumed at 7.30 a.m. on Monday 7 September 2026, following completion of the audit on a going concern basis, publication of the annual report, and execution of the fundraise.

The fundraise remains subject to the passing of resolutions at the General Meeting on 21 September 2026, with settlement and admission expected on 22 September 2026.
